मिलिए मनोरंजन के ज़रिए समाज के उत्थान में यकीं रखनेवाले उद्यमी अजय हरिनाथ सिंह से

जब बात हो सिंह ऐंड सन्स की, तो उद्यमिता और उदारता का अनोखा संगम देखने को मिलता है और हालिमें इनके सर और एक ताज चढा जब कंपनी के युवा  प्रतिभावान वंशज अजय हरिनाथ सिंह को टाइम्स पावर मैन और यंग आइकॉनिक आंत्रप्योनोर अवॉर्ड्स से नवाज़ा गया। 

अजय हरिनाथ सिंह कहते हैं कि, "लम्बे समय तक नेटफ़्लिक्स (अमेरिका) के‌ राजीव, झी५ की रेशमी और ज़ी एंटरटेनमेंट से उनकी कंपनी के बढ़िया संबंध रहे हैं। ऐसे में अब हम चीन, कोरिया, जापान, चेक रिपब्लिक, जॉर्जिया में पैर पसारने के लिए प्रेरित हुए हैं। इसके अलावा, हम भारत और विदेशों में भी फ़िल्मसिटी की स्थापना, डिजिटल डिस्ट्रीब्यूशन प्लेटफॉर्म के विस्तार की कोशिशों में लगे हुए हैं।"

देश के एक बेहद शक्तिशाली परिवारों में से एक से ताल्लुक होने‌ के बावजूद अजय हरिनाथ सिंह ने विभिन्न कंपनियों में काम किया। भारतीय उद्यमिता के प्रति अपनी भूख को सामने लाते हुए उन्होंने डारविन प्लेटफॉर्म ग्रुप ऑफ़ कंपनीज़ की स्थापना की, जिसमें प्राथमिक रूप से तेल, MiG और एयरक्राफ़्ट सेवा और अन्य हथियारों के बाने पर ध्यान केंद्रित किया गया। कंपनी ने‌ जल्द ही बैंकिंग, फ़ार्मास्युटिकल्स, फ़ाइनांस, खनन, सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी, हवाई सवाओं स्वास्थ्य संबंधी क्षेत्रों में ख़ुद को स्थापित कर लिया। फ़िलहाल अजय हरिनाथ सिंह डारविन प्लेटफॉर्म समूह के मालिक है और कंपनी पर ९६% मालिकाना हक़ उनका है।

रशियन इंटरनैशनल फ़ैमिली फ़िल्म्स फ़ेस्टिवल  की जूरी के सदस्य, डार्विन प्लेटफॉर्म ग्रुप ऑफ़ कंपनीज़ (DPGC) के अध्यक्ष और प्रबंध निदेशक हरिनाथ सिंह ने दो न्यूज़ मीडिया में निवेश किया है जबकि वो भारत के टॉप ५ फ़िल्म प्रोडक्शन हाउस में से दो का बड़ा आर्थिक आधार हैं। जिनमें कुल ४३ फ़िल्मों का समावेश हैं। इनमें से तीन फ़िल्में ऐसी रही हैं, जिनका शुमार भारत की तीन सबसे महंगी फ़िल्मों में होता है। वो अब ख़ुद ही मुख्यधारा के व्यवसायिक कंटेट के निर्माण के क्षेत्र में कदम रखने जा रहे हैं, जिससें सिनेमा, टीवी, वेब के लिए कंटेट का निर्माण शामिल है। इसके लिए वे ख़ुद ही एक मीडिया हाउस खोलने‌ जा रहे हैं जिसके प्रमुख हैं DPGC ग्रुप सीओओ डॉ. फ़रहाद विजय अरोड़ा जो फ़िल्म स्टार विजय अरोड़ा और पूर्व मिस इंडिया दिलबर दिबेरा के बेटे भी हैं।

फ़िलहाल उनका प्रोडक्शन हाउस 'द राइज़ ऑफ़ मंगोल' नामक फ़िल्म बनाने जा रहा है, जो अभी निर्माण स्टेज में है। ये तीन हिस्सों में चंगेज़ ख़ान पर बननेवाली बायोपिक है, जिन्हें इतिहास का सबसे बड़ा मुगल बादशाह माना जाता था। इस बहुभाषी फिल्म को हिंदी, अंग्रेजी, तमिल, तेलुगू और अन्य भाषाओं में भी रिलीज़ किया जाएगा। इसके अलावा, समानांतर सिनेमा‌ कि श्रेणी में आनेवाली फ़िल्में भी रिलीज़ के लिए तैयार हैं जिनमें तेरा क्या होगा लम्बोदर, अज़ीजन और वॅलेट पार्किंग का शुमार है। कंपनी कंगना राणावत स्टारर धाकड़ के निर्माण को लेकर भी विचार कर रही है जो २०२० में दीवाली के मौके पर रिलीज़ की जाएगी। इसके अलावा तीन और फ़िल्में भी प्री-प्रोडक्शन स्टेज पर हैं जिनके नाम‌ हैं रिक्शा, लेडी लक और एंड-योर-एक्स। डॉ. फ़रहाद विजय अरोड़ा कहते हैं, "उचित तरीके का मनोरंजन लोगों को प्रेरित और उन्हें ख़ुश‌ करने का सही माध्यम है। इससे न सिर्फ़ देश के जनता की भलाई होती है, बल्कि ये देश की प्रगति और मानवता के विकास में अपना अहम योगदान देता है।"

 DPGC ग्रुप के‌‌‌ सीएफ़ओ हरेश महापात्रा का कहना है, "सामाजिक-आर्थिक दृष्टि से हम भारतीय मनोरंजन जगत के होलिस्टिक ग्रोथ की संभावनाएं देख रहे हैं, जिसका विस्तार एक संगठित और सुरक्षित इंडस्ट्री के रूप में किया जाएगा। इससे न सिर्फ़ रोज़गार के अवसर बढ़ेंगे, बल्कि नई प्रतिभाओं को भी उभरने का मौका‌ मिलेगा। इस तरह से तमाम लोगों का मनोरंजन होगा और उन्हें ख़ुश रखने में सफलता भी मिलेगी, जिसका‌ सकारात्मक परिणाम भारत के जीडीपी‌ पर भी देखने को मिलेगा।"

डारविन प्लेटफॉर्म ग्रुप की सभी १९ कंपनियां सार्वजनिक रूप से लिस्टेड कंपनियां हैं और ये समूह शुरू से ही एक ऋण-विहीन समूह रहा है। इसका कुल टर्नओवर ४१००० करोड़ रुपये है। कंपनी‌ की मौजूदगी हॉलीवुड, बॉलीवुड और रूसी फ़िल्मों में है। उल्लेखनीय है कि डारविन प्लेटफॉर्म मास मीडिया का कुल टर्नओवर २८९ करोड़ रुपये है। कंपनी का मक़सद किफ़ायती दामों पर एंटरटेनमेंट इंडस्ट्री को फ़ायनांस मुहैया कराना है ताक़ि ऐसा कर‌के वो अच्छे कंटेट के निर्माण में  सहयोग प्रदान करना चाहते हैं।

DPGC ग्रुप के सीईओ राहुल गणपुले कहते हैं, "DPGC के‌ आने से‌ सभी सेक्टर‌ में बड़े पैमाने‌ पर बदलाव देखने को मिलेगा। कंपनी‌ के पास बेहद अनुभवी लीगल टीम भी है, जिसके नेतृत्व की कमान है रोहित जैन और गौरव जैन के हाथों में। इस कंपनी‌ में मानद सदस्य के रूप में सुप्रीम कोर्ट के दो सेवानिवृत्त जज बतौर सलाहकार अपनी सेवाएं दे रहे हैं, तो वहीं हाई कोर्ट के तीन जज भी सलाहकार की हैसियत से रखे गयें हैं।" उल्लेखनीय है कि डारविन प्लेटफॉर्म और सरकारी परियोजनाओं से जुड़े सेक्टर की ज़िम्मेदारी मोहम्मद अनवर बावला पर है। डायवर्सिफ़ाइड आईटी व सेल्स टीम‌ की बागडोर दीपक जांगरा, शिव चरण और राकेश विश्वकर्मा के हाथों में है।

ग़ौरतलब है कि हाल ही के दिनों में अजय हरिनाथ सिंह ने कई सामाजिक कार्यों के लिए भी ख़ासा वक्त दिया है, जिसमें देश और विदेश दोनों जगहों पर ऐसे कार्यों को अंजाम देना शामिल है। अजय हरिनाथ सिंह कहते हैं, "इतनी‌ कामयाबी हासिल करने के बाद भी मेरी ख़ुशी इस बात में है कि मैं समाज के उत्थान और उसकी ख़ुशहाली में किसी तरह सहयोग कर सकूं।" समाज कार्य के रूप में ज़रूरतमंदों तक खाना पहुंचाने के लिए 'द अजय हरिनाथ सिंह फ़ाउंडेशन' (AHSF) की स्थापना भारत में की गयी ताक़ि बेसहारा और लाचार लोगों को भूखा न सोना‌ पड़े। इसने अपने‌ फ़ूड किचन्स अब लंदन (यूके) और फ़िलेडेल्फ़िया (अमेरिका) जैसे देशों में भी खोल लिये हैं। इनके ज़रिए ३००० ज़रूरमंद लोगों तक शाकाहारी भोजन पहुंचाया जाता है। इसके अलावा, कॉर्पोरेट सोशल रेस्पॉन्सिबिलिटी के तहत डारविन ग्रुप ब्रांच ने‌ विशेष योजना के तहत लातूर (महाराष्ट्र) और भुज (गुजरात) में कम क़ीमत पर अस्पताल बनाने में कामयाबी हासिल की। २५० करोड़ रुपये की निधि इकट्ठा करनेवाले इन अस्पतालों का उद्देश्य कम आयवाले परिवारों को गुणवत्तापूर्ण और कम ख़र्च में हासिल की जानेवाली स्वास्थ्य सेवाएं उपलबद्ध कराना है।

Massakali Movement strives to empower the Indian Handloom Weaver Shabana Azmi, Bhagyashree and Sharmila Thackeray Grace The Event

In order to revive the Indian handloom industry, and to keep the craftsmanship of the Paithani weaver women alive and breathing, Shraddha Sawant and her brainchild Massakali had brought together more than 500 handloom sarees to an exhibition at Novotel, Juhu. Handloom lovers and actresses Shabana Azmi and Bhagyashree were present along with Sharmila Thackeray, actress Indira Krishnan, filmmaker Anusha Srinivasan Iyer and Indian ethnic wear influencer Mamta Sharma Das aka The Bohobaalika, among many other celebrities. It was a pleasure to see them mingle with the weavers and their families, showing exactly how special a place handloom has in their hearts, as they all walked in wearing exclusive Massakali creations.

Shraddha Sawant had flown in two of their Paithani weavers along with one of their looms to recreate the entire weaving atmosphere to give the onlookers the opportunity to have a go at the weaving process. Paithani sarees jostled with several other handloom sarees such as Benarasi, Chanderi, Khadi-Jamdani, Ikat, Zari, Kanjivaram, and Garhwal at the well attended exhibition. 

Decoding the name of the brand, Sawant explained, “Massakali means a bird in flight, and stands for freedom, peace and prosperity – all the things I wish for our weaver community this festive season, especially our lady weavers.”

Emphasising how difficult the situation is for the weaving community, she stated, “The weavers are a tremendously talented but impoverished lot, all for lack of connectivity with buyers. They deserve to be valued by the urban audience, and patronised suitably for them to be able to continue to keep alive the age-old traditional process of weaving. That’s where Massakali steps in, and helps them live their lives happily while continuing their chosen vocation.”

Wishing to infuse new economic oxygen into the art of weaving before the tradition becomes extinct, Sawant continued, “The handloom industry is a vehicle to provide rural employment to protect our cultural heritage. Through Massakali, I am trying to revive the tradition-bearers who are in a state of penury, as well as bring back the symbol of India’s glorious cultural legacy – it’s weaving art.” 

Sawant also teaches weavers how to create exclusive designer sarees, besides the traditional weaves. “At least, once in a month, we personally visit small villages and interact with the weavers. We also give them new design ideas. They feel encouraged and motivated,” she smiled.

“When we preserve the dignity of the Indian craftsman, we actually help ourselves. Handloom is not just eco-friendly; it also lessens the carbon footprint as the revival slows down rural migration, besides making us torchbearers of a resurgence of hundreds of marvelous regional Indian weaves and techniques." 

Shabana Azmi, noted as much for her onscreen magnetism as for her penchant for handlooms, admitted, “My love for handlooms stems from my childhood. My mother was also a huge patron of Indian handloom sarees. When I have played the role of a weaver’s wife in Shyam Benegal’s movie “Susman”, I realised that women are allowed only peripheral status in this trade. I commend Shraddha heartily for involving women weavers and empowering them in the process.”

Ageless beauty Bhagyashree shared a sartorial secret, “I have plenty of Paithani sarees which were worn by my mother, which I hope that my daughter would wear and that her daughter would wear some day, for a very simple reason – that they are strikingly gorgeous!” 

She makes an amazing point when she said, “With sarees like these that retain their beauty forever, it is not only ones’ jewellery that one can hand down to our children but also these sartorial gems.” Both the artists heartily endorsed the support of handloom usage in everyday as well as festive wear, and appealed to all to come forward in support of the weavers energetically

इस बारिश के मौसम में अपने कानों का रखिये ख़याल

"आर्द्र जलवायु वाले इस मौसम में मुख्य चिंता हमारी प्रतिरक्षा प्रणाली का कमजोर होना है। बारिश में, संक्रमण अधिक तौर से सामान्य होता हैं क्योंकि इस वक्त हमारी प्रतिरक्षा प्रणाली कमजोर होती है। उचित सावधानी के साथ अपनी प्रतिरक्षा क्षमता को बढ़ाएं। शरीर को गर्म रखने और अपनी प्रतिरक्षा प्रणाली को बढ़ावा देने के लिए गर्म पेय का विकल्प चुनें।"

“कान में मोम या पानी से भरा हुआ होना यह कान नहरों के बंधे होने का मुख्य कारण है, खासकर इस मौसम में सभी प्रकार के दर्द होते हैं । देवांगी दलाल ने कहा कि अपने कानों को सुरक्षित रखें और अगर आपको दर्द हो रहा है तो फंगल कान के संक्रमण के कारण दर्द होता है और इसे ठीक होने में कम से कम  २१  दिन लगते हैं।

आशा भोसले आणि जनाई भोसले यांनी रजिता कुलकर्णी यांच्यासह श्री श्री रविशंकर यांच्या कृतज्ञतेत गाण्यांची घोषणा केली.

ज्येष्ठ गायिका पद्मविभूषण आशा भोसले आणि नात जनाई भोसले यांनी गीतकार रजिता कुलकर्णी यांच्यासह अंधेरी पश्चिम येथील पंचम स्टुडिओ येथे आध्यात्मिक आणि मानवतावादी गुरु श्री श्री रविशंकर यांच्या कृतज्ञतेत गाण्यांची घोषणा केली. आशा भोसले यांनी त्यापैकी एक गाणे गायले आहे, तर जनाई भोसलेने दुसरे गाणे गायले आहे.

गुरुदेव श्री श्री रविशंकर यांना या गाण्यांविषयी माहिती आहे का? असे विचारले असता, आशा भोसले यांनी व्यक्त केले की, “मी गुरुदेवांशी गाण्यांबद्दल काही बोलने झाले नाही, परंतु मी त्यांना बर्‍याच वेळा भेटले आहे. त्यांच्या इतर सर्व अनुयायांप्रमाणे मी देखील त्यांना प्रिय आहे.”

ज्येष्ठ गायिका आशा भोसले ह्या गाण्याच्या निवडीबददल म्हणाल्या की,“ सर्व गाणी नृत्य किंवा प्रेमाविषयीचं असतात असे नाही. इतर भावना देखील आहेत, विशेषत: त्या ज्या आपल्याला देवाशी जोडतात आणि गुरुदेव यांच्या कृतज्ञतेत रचलेली ही गाणी आपल्याला भगवंताशी जोडतात.” योगायोगाने आशा भोसले यांनी या गाण्यांना संगीत देखील दिले आहे.

जनाई भोसलेचे तिच्या आजीबरोबरचे हे पहिलेचं सहकार्य नाही! ह्या गाण्याबद्दल सांगताना जनाई म्हणते की, “हे गाणे माझ्या हृदयाच्या अगदी जवळ आहे. ती माझी आजी आहे! आम्ही जगभर प्रोफेशनली म्युजिक कॉन्सर्ट मध्ये परफॉर्म केले आहे, पण जेव्हा आम्ही घरी परततो, तेव्हा ती माझी आजी असते जी माझ्यासाठी माझे आवडते जेवण बनवते... तिच्यात काहीच बदल होत नाही.” युवा प्रतिभावान गायिका जनाई ने श्री श्री रविशंकर यांच्या प्रति तिची निष्ठा व्यक्त करत  म्हटले की, "मी स्वतःला भाग्यवान समजते कि मला त्यांच्यासाठी गाण्याची संधी मिळाली."

अध्यात्माबद्दल त्यांच्या समान कल्पनाशिवाय, आजी-नाती ची ही जोडी एक आपुलकीचे बंध साधते. याबद्दल सांगताना आशा भोसले सांगतात की, “जनाई मला अजिबात त्रास देत नाही! ती खरोखर चांगला स्वयंपाक करते आणि प्रेमाने मला खाऊ घालते. सभ्यतेची तिला जाण आहे. ती आमच्या कुटुंबाला एकत्र बांधते. वयाच्या सातव्या वर्षापासूनच तिला भारतीय शास्त्रीय संगीताचे आणि शास्त्रीय नृत्याचे प्रशिक्षण देण्यात आले आहे. आणि आता ती वेस्टर्न ऑपेरा शैलीत सुद्धा गाते. आता ती १७ वर्षांची असून शालेय शिक्षणासह संगीतात हि तालीम घेत आहे.”

Artist-Social Activist Rouble Nagi launched another Edu-Hub (Balwadi) and Skill Centre in Jaffar Baba Colony,Bandra West. This comes after sustained and successful efforts to provide education and vocation in the areas of Worli, Prabha Devi, Colaba, Virar, Thane, Aurangabad,Nasik to name a few in Maharashtra. Under Misaal Mumbai’s initiative of the Rouble Nagi Art Foundation, the inauguration of the Balwadi was done by the Honourable Minister Shri Ashish Shelar. Shekhar Ravjiani of Vishal-Shekhar fame also graced the occasion & showed interest in teaching music to the kids at the skill centre. The event was also marked by broad smiles as the tiny tots were happy to receive sweet treats from the guests!

Aiming at enabling women and youth to live financially independent lives, the project aids with vocational skill building and placement support system.Through consistent efforts in the direction of quality skill building and employment support, trainees will secure employment and sustain themselves, under the programme. The centre, launched at Jaffar Baba Colony, near Kadeshwari Temple Marg and Mount Mary Church in Bandra, will provide pre-school programs.

Intending to provide access to information, knowledge and skill to the citizens, Misaal Mumbai uses various components of the Digital India initiative, with the prime objective of creating young entrepreneurs. These young entrepreneurs, in turn, become agents of change in their respective slums. ‘Misaal Mumbai-India’ is an initiative to transform the lives of people living in the slums and villages of India.

रोहित वर्मा यांचा आयएसीए २०१९ 'फेस्टिवल ऑफ इंडिया' जोरदार गाजला !

इंडियन अमेरिकन कल्चरल असोसिएशन (आयएसीए) , अटलांटा येथे आयोजित या २४ साव्या फेस्टिव्हल ऑफ इंडिया मध्ये डिझाइनर रोहित वर्माने त्यांच्या अग्रणी फॅशन शोसाठी टाळ्यांचा कडकडाक मिळवला. महोत्सवाचे ह्या आवृत्तीमधील रन वे वरील सादरीकरण यशस्वी ठरले, विशेषत: महोत्सवासाठी आयएसीएचे अध्यक्ष डॉ. (मिसेस) पॅडी शर्मा जेव्हा आंतरराष्ट्रीय डिझायनर रोहित वर्माच्या फॅशन शोच्या उद्घाटन अभिनेत्रीच्या रूपात रनवे वर उतरल्या. 

आनंदित रोहित वर्मा म्हणाले की, “भगवान कृष्णाने मला ज्या सर्व संधी दिल्या त्याबद्दल मी सदैव त्यांचा आभारी आहे. मी डॉ. पॅडी शर्मा यांचेही रन वे वर त्यांनी केलेल्या सादरीकरणाबद्दल आभार मानतो त्यांनी खरोखरचं सर्वांना मंत्रमुग्ध केले.”

रोहित वर्मा हे २०१९च्या ह्या फेस्टिव्हल ऑफ इंडियाचा शोचे खरे  स्टार होते; त्यांनी आपला चमकदार संग्रहच नव्हे तर जबरदस्त फॅशन शो देखील सादर केला. या कार्यक्रमासाठी आयएसीएच्या चेअरपर्सन डॉ. श्रीमती पॅडी शर्मा, आयएसीए चेअरमन श्री अनी अग्निहोत्री आणि फॅशन इव्हेंटचे को-ऑर्डिनेटर किरण अग्निहोत्री उपस्थित होते. आयएसीए ही अटलांटामधील भारतीयांची सर्वात मोठी आणि सर्वात जुनी नफा रहित संस्था आहे आणि गेली २३ वर्षे ते फेस्टिव्हल ऑफ इंडियाचे आयोजन करीत आले आहेत.

महोत्सवाचा हा अध्याय हा दिवसभर सांस्कृतिक क्रियाकलापांनी भरलेला होता आणि अटलांटा येथील भारतीय वाणिज्य दूतावास आणि स्थानिक राजकारण्यांसह संपूर्ण जॉर्जियामधील ३००० पेक्षा जास्त लोकांनी येथे उपस्थिती दर्शविली होती.

Revered producer Siddharth Roy Kapur and teen heartthrob Aditya Roy Kapur, along with their parents Salome and Roy, and Kunaal’s wife Shayonti, came together to attend the premiere of Kunaal’s loverboy debut movie Mushkil - Fear Behind You. The two brothers proudly walked alongside Kunaal and family, and gave everyone family goals!

”My family has always been supportive but they are critics. But I am glad we watched the film together and they loved it! People who love horror should surely watch Mushkil.” said Kunaal Roy Kapur. Mother Salome admitted she loved the ending whereas Shayonti Roy Kapur loved Kunaal the romantic, “I’m terrified of the horror genre but I loved the story in it.”

The joy and pride on the faces of Kunaal's wife, and the brothers' parents was there for all to see, especially since Kunaal was stepping into younger brother Aditya's romantic hero territory for the first time. 

Considering their busy schedules, one might think it would be ‘mushkil’ to catch the three brothers together, but love makes anything possible!

"Happy Birthday Sulakshana.. you have just been adopted," announce Anand Mahendroo, Papon, Shekhar Suman, Ismail Darbar...

It is not often that 28-year-olds burst into tears as they cut their birthday cake. But if you are Sulakshana, celebrating her first birthday ever in 28 years, cheered by family of 80 people, and friends, you sure will shed tears of happiness. So the words 80 family members caught your attention. The members we refer to are orphan kids who have come together to celebrate the birthday of one of their own.
Cheering the radiant  birthday girl were celebs of the likes of Anand Mahendroo, Shekhar Suman, Papon, Ismail Darbar, Shrikant Bhartiya, and the beautiful couple Sareeka Gagan and Gagan Mahotra, who made this initiative possible.
"I am overwhelmed," said Sulakshana. "I was abandoned as an infant with my sister, with a note stating our names and birthdays. This is my first celebration in 28 years!"
Sulakshana today dedicates her life to more orphans like her who are at times even reduced to begging on the streets once they are out of orphanages on turning major, and lends them a helping hand.
But little did she expect that on turning 28, she would be adopted by the young couple Sareeka and Gagan Mahotra, who would promise to hold her hand for life!
"It feels wonderful," enthuses Sulakshana unable to hold back her tears. The couple merely puts it as something each of us should do. "We did what we should as we felt that way. There is nothing that is extraordinary in our action. We simply followed our heart,"  echo Sareeka and Gagan Mahotra.
This voice seems to have caught on as filmmaker-entrepreneur Anand Mahendroo not only threw open his Champak Studios in the heart of Andheri to share the sentiments of the couple, but invited his friends to join the children and welcoming them into his fold.
"It feels beautiful. Such initiatives turn this concrete jungle into homes with warm hearts,. There should be more such initiatives and we all should wholeheartedly participate," says an emotional Anand Mahendroo.
Shekhar Suman, Papon, Shrikant Bhartiya and Ismail Darbar who oblige enthusiastic selfies amid  conversations only agree in unison.

डॉ. अनिल काशी मुरारका ने  एम्पल मिशन संस्था की और से  एक अनुठी मुहीम चलाई।  जनसामान्य लोगों के बीच तंबाकू के बारे में अधिक से अधिक जागरूकता फैलाना इस मुहीम का मकसद था। अनिल काशी मुरारका और उनकी  टीम के सदस्य  इस मुहीम  को यशस्वी बनाने के लिये मुंबई की सड़कों  पर उतरे, अलग अलग लोगो से मिले, उनके साथ बातचीत की , उन लोगों के जीवन के विभिन्न पहलुओं को जानने की  कोशिश की और अंत में उन्होंने विनम्रतापूर्वक उनसे धूम्रपान छोड़ने और तंबाकू उत्पादों का उपयोग करने से बचने का अनुरोध किया।

डॉ. अनिल काशी मुरारका ने कहा, “भारत में तंबाकू का उपयोग एक गंभीर समस्या है। शिक्षा का अभाव और उचित मार्गदर्शन की कमी, सहकारी दबाव और बच्चों में  गलतफहमी, तनाव और अन्य तम्बाकू उत्पादों और विज्ञापनो से  नए  लोग तंबाकू के उपयोग के लिए आकर्षित होते हैं ।और कई वर्षों से उनके उपभोग और दुरुपयोग में लगातार वृद्धि हो रही है । मुझे लगता है कि लोगों को शिक्षित करने का मतलब है कि वे स्वयं खुद की मदद कर सकते हैं

Ashish Shelar unveils Sangeeta Babani’s ‘Joyful Moments’, An Art Installation At Otters Club in the presence of Preeti Jhangiani, Jaswinder Singh, Swapna Mhatre, Vikram Rao, Samir and Dipalee Date

Sangeeta Babani, a distinguished artist also known for her art on cars, has conceptualized and created a unique mixed media 10 feet by 5 feet artwork. The said artwork, aptly titled ‘Joyful Moments’, was completed in a short span of just 3 months! Sangeeta has used various mediums in the said artwork, including wood, metal, sculpture paste et al, depicting the goings-on of the Otters Club. 

With two inch moulded frames, Sangeeta Babani’s exhibit has been installed on the 1st Floor of Otters Club, the area catering to the most elite crowd of Bandra! The painting was unveiled over high tea with esteemed guests from different walks from life. Besides Chief Guest Hon’ble Minister for School Education, Sports & Youth Welfare of Maharashtra Ashish Shelar, Corporator Swapna Mhatre, Actor Preeti Jhangiani, Ghazal singers Jaswinder Singh, Samir and Dipalee Date, Vikram Rao, Akshay and poet Chand were spotted at the exquisite art affair.

Artist Sangeeta Babani, raised in Spain and settled in Mumbai, has studied Arts in Spain, a country rich in art and culture. Being a proud Indian, the immense cultural diversity of India is naturally ingrained in her and has influenced her immensely! “With this art installation, I aim to encourage the younger lot to follow their creativity and passion,” she avers.

समाज सेवक डॉ अनिल काशी मुरारका को हाल ही में लन्दन में २०१९ का भारत गौरव पुरस्कार देकर सम्मानित किया गया । यह पुरस्कार समारोह 'हाऊस ऑफ कॉमन' में संपन्न हुआ। डॉ. अनिल काशी मुरारका को  देश के लिये कि गयी उत्कृष्ट सेवा और उत्कृष्ट व्यक्तिक सफलता  के लिये सम्मानित किया गया।

डॉ. अनिल काशी मुरारका हमेशा से ही अपने मन की सुनते आये है, अपने देश में वो बिना किसी प्रसिद्धि समाजसेवा क्षेत्र में निरंतर कार्यरत रहते हैं। वो कहते हैं, "जब भी किसी व्यक्ति  को उनके कार्य के लिये विशेष तौर से अंतराष्टीय स्तर पर सम्मानित किया जाता है  तो वो ख़ुशी कुछ अलग ही होती है जिसे हम बयान नहीं कर सकते।

साल 2015 में, डॉ. अनिल काशी मुरारका ने समाज में सकारात्मक बदलाव लाने के प्रयास में सामाजिक जागरूकता संस्था एम्पल मिशन की स्थापना की। उनके हाल ही में हुए अभियानों में आदिवासी महिलाओं को सैनिटरी पैड वितरित करना, एसिड अटैक से बचे लोगों की मदद करना; दिव्यांग छात्रों के लिए स्पोर्ट्स डे  का आयोजन, स्टेशन के पास यात्रा करने वाले यात्रियों को गर्मी की तपिश से कुछ राहत मिल सके इसलिए नींबू पानी का वितरण और मालवणी में झील इंग्लिश स्कूल के छात्रों के लायब्रेरी के लिए पुस्तकें उपलब्ध करके देना, इस तरह की विभिन्न गतिविधियों का समावेश हैं।

डॉ. अनिल काशी मुरारका को भारत गौरव पुरस्कार २०१९ का प्रतिष्ठित पुरस्कार मिलने  कि ख़ुशी बयान करते हुए कहते हैं, "पुरस्कार से अधिक ख़ुशी मुझे परोपकारी कार्य करने  में होती हैं । और जिस भावनाओं को लेकर हम कार्य करते हैं और उससे प्रभावित होकर के निस्वार्थ रूप से जो लोग योगदान करते हैं तब मुझे बहुत ख़ुशी होती है और वह मेरे लिए किसी परुष्कार से कम नहीं है ,तब मुझे लगता है की में अपने अभियान में सफल हो रहा हूँ।''

ब्युटी आणि वेलनेस क्षेत्रात एक नवे विकास पर्व सूरु झाल्यावर त्वचेसमवेत नैसर्गिक सौंदर्य आणि वेलनेस याला एक नवे स्थान मिळाले. ह्याच कारणामुळे ब्युटी आणि वेलनेसचे विशेषज्ञ प्रखर प्रकाशाच्या झोताखाली आहेत. पंचवीस वर्षाच्या कठोर परिश्रमाने रेखा चौधरी यांनी ह्या क्षेत्रात आपली एक आगळी वेगळी ओळख निर्माण केली आहे.  त्या भारताच्या ग्लोबल वेलनेस अँबॅसेडर आहेत. रेखा चौधरी ह्या वेलनेस इंडस्ट्री आणि खान्देशातील प्रथम महिला आहेत ज्यांनी डॉक्टरेट पदवी मिळवली आहे. 

आपला आनंद व्यक्त करत रेखा चौधरी म्हणाल्या की, “पंचवीस वर्षांपूर्वी जेव्हा मी सौंदर्य क्षेत्रात करिअर करण्यासाठी शहरात आले होते तेव्हाचा काळ खूप कठीण होता आणि जेव्हा मी स्पा आणि वेलनेस क्षेत्रात प्रवेश केला होता तेव्हा ही तीच परिस्थिती होती. यशाचा रस्ता खूपच खडतर होता हे मला कळून चुकले होते आणि त्यामुळे मी माझे परिश्रम चालूच ठेवले. मला आनंद आहे की मला पुरस्कारप्राप्त युरोपीयन स्किनकेअर अन्स एसपीए ब्रँड्स, रॅमी लॉरे, फायटोमर, एएसपी आणि बी.एल.बी. यांच्याबरोबर काम करण्याची संधी मिळाली. जगभरातील हाय-एंड लक्झरी स्पाशी संलग्न होऊन काम आणि स्वत: चा जुहू  येथील लोकप्रिय कॅरेसा डे स्पा, जिओ थर्मो थेरपी आणि रोप मसाज थेरपीसारख्या माझ्या विविध पेटंट ट्रीटमेंट्स्ने आपले आगळे वेगळे स्थान निर्माण करायला मिळाले. आम्ही ग्रामीण आदिवासी तरूणांना सौंदर्य आणि निरोगीपणाचे प्रशिक्षण देखील दिले आहे आणि स्पा आणि सलून या शहरांमध्ये नोकरी देऊन तेथे जीवनात यशस्वीरित्या परिवर्तन घडवून आणले आहे. फ्रान्सच्या सोर्बन युनिव्हर्सिटीतील डॉ. जॉन थॉमस प्राडे यांनी मला या प्रतिष्ठित पुरस्काराने सन्मानित केले त्याबद्दल मी त्यांची आभारी आहे! आपण निवडलेल्या व्यवसायात आपल्या योगदानासाठी ओळखले जाणे ही भावनाच खूप छान आहे."
